But not the great early film Oscar prognosticators have made out to be. Or bitter, I must say. That not the fault of Sean Penn, which certainly gives an Oscar-worthy performance of Milk Harvey, the first openly gay American to be elected to public office. Milk is one of those movies you keep rooting for, hoping it will keep some better, some more fun. But in the end, it just a little too flat. Don t get me wrong, Milk is a nice movie.
